Wild at heART

Come create with us!

By Wild at heART August 21, 2017

Wild at heART after school art classes are revving up to create and experience as much as possible these next 10 months. Classes of different age groups meet each week to learn about different techniques, experience different kinds of media and create their own visual works of art with the instruction of Sara Anders, Owner and Director of Wild at heART.

Friday afternoons at Wild at heART are specifically designed for teens and tweens to let their imaginations flow during Open Studio. 11 to 15 yr olds are welcome to create and wind down from a long week of school work. The space to create and all of the needed supplies are available for young artists to use from 3:30-5:00 pm. With prompt and guidance from the instructor, Teens and tweens can work alone or collaborate with each other to create works of art in the Wild at heART studio.

All classes are held in Thomasville Center for the Arts main building in the Wild at heART studio on the top floor. After school art classes run from August to May, following the school calendar. There is a class held every weekday afternoon from 3:30-5:00 pm for specific age groups so they can learn age-appropriate techniques. The kiddos have the opportunity to join multiple classes offered for their age group if they wish. For more information, visit our website https://wildatheartkids.wixsite.com/arts.
